22 Pound Catfish
Welcome to my favorite sport. The sport of Fishing. Grab a Bucket, some rods and reels, and let’s go fishing. My name is Gary and I love to fish for catfish, bass and just about any type of fish that will bite. Nice 22 pounder to the left. this is fun folks. I wanted to make a fun website about something I love to do and share idea’s with friends that have same interest. There’s a lot gear out there these days and naturally I’m interested in the best that catch’s fish. Ha!
The center picture that was taken at the Chicamauga Dam last July of me and this beautiful blue 35lb Catfish. This 35 pounder felt more like 100lbs trying to get it in the boat. These cat love fast moving water and lay at the bottom of the dam near the locks. All together we caught about 250 lbs of catfish that day. This was undoubtably one of the best fishing trips I have been own for catfish.
35 Pound Catfish
All anglers have tips and tricks and we'll try to post all the updates happening in the fishing world. If you would like your pic added to our catch of week page feel free to send your photo to use. Everyone likes a good fish story so send that in as well to share with other anglers. These fish are getting smarter these days and staying up with the gear is important. Just to tell you how smart they are, a friend of mine was diving in one of lakes and found an old car at the bottom. Inside was a huge catfish swimming around. He tried several times to reach in and grab the monster but he said every time he tried, that catfish would roll the window up. :) Now that's smart.
5 Pound Catfish
Here's a nice little 5 pound cat caught in the same river at Chickamauga Dam just in a different location. I really like fishing here because of the variety of fish you can catch. A nice catch always makes for some good eaten, all my friends of course have great recipes of there own and their all mighty tasty. The Dam is of course on the Tennessee River which offers miles and miles of beauty and fantastic fishing. Thousand of people fish this river from the banks with great results. If you like using live bait you will get good results. If you are lure and spinner fisherman you will also be very satisfied with your strikes.
